Top Euro Travel Must-Sees
There are so many things to see in Europe, it’s hard to narrow the options down to a single list. If you can’t go to all of these places during your trip, put aside some time for at least one of them.
1. The Sistine Chapel, Italy
You’ve probably seen pictures of it, but seeing Michelangelo’s masterpiece in person is a completely different experience. The painting, which covers the entire 131-foot by 43-foot ceiling, illustrates multiple stories from the Bible.
2. The Eiffel Tower, France
It’s the Eiffel Tower, need we say more?
Built on the 100th anniversary of the French Revolution, the Eiffel Tower stands almost 1,000 feet tall. You can go all the way to the top, even take the stairs if you want, and see Paris from above.
3. The Colesseum, Italy
If you’re into ancient Roman and Greek architecture, you shouldn’t stop with just the Colosseum. Time travel into an older world with stops at the Acropolis in Athens, Greece and the city of Pompeii in Italy.
4. The Leaning Tower of Pisa, Italy
Made of beautiful white marble, the Leaning Tower of Pisa is actually a bell tower for the Pisa cathedral. And it’s a lot smaller than you think it is.
5. The Hallerbos Forest, Belgium
If you are looking for something a little less traditional, you won’t regret stopping at the Hallerbos Forest. The trees are surrounded by purple beds of bluebells. They are in bloom sometime around the end of April.
Top Euro Travel Foods
Some of these foods might seem strange and unusual, but if you’re in the area, you have to give them a try.
