While you’re at it, hit up the spa and get a little massage therapy. You’ll feel relaxed and the masseuse will make you forget why you were stressed out in the first place.
So keep calm and let it all melt away.
2. Do Absolutely Nothing
Ship the kids off to the grandparents’ house. Get them to take your husband along for the journey. Veg out on the couch.
Turn the phone off. Take a long, hot bath. Maybe give yourself a facial.
Don’t do the laundry. Don’t do anything at all. Don’t even leave the house.
When you get bored, order a pizza and turn on the Netflix.
3. Solo Date
This is one of our favorites. Doll yourself up and take yourself out to dinner and a movie. Nothing can replace the beautiful sound of silence.

When you want ways to pamper yourself, sometimes you just need to call up the girls and arrange for some shopping therapy. Sure, you’ll probably return pretty much everything next week, but who cares?
This is a great excuse to hit up the mall, antique shops, and those super cute boutiques you’ve been eyeing for months.
5. Eat Dessert
Pint of ice cream? That sexy donut food truck that always seems to be parked across the street from your apartment?
Yes. To all of them. Don’t make yourself sick, but eat whatever you want to. Take a cheat day to end all cheat days and love every second of it.
Wrapping it Up
It really doesn’t matter what you do as long as it’s about you and only you. Even if it’s something mundane like popping a bottle of vino and sitting around in your pajamas.
So buy a cheesecake. And eat it. Go shopping.
