We, as girls, are always concerned about looking good. Admit it: in our free time, we go to beauty shops and just lose track of time among products. At home, we read magazines, blogs and all kind of stuff about beauty. Males often laugh about it but we don`t care, we continue with our infatuated hunger for looking the prettiest. To quench my little “thirst” for knowledge and also to help you, I chose to write about 9 natural beauty masks that will improve your appearance and make all your problems go away.
But, I must remind you that in order to see results when using homemade masks, you must be very patient. Patience is one thing that I can’t qualify as my strengths, but I hope that you’ll have it. I think patience is the key to success, moreover when it comes to beauty.
3 Homemade Beauty Masks For Your Face
1. Clearing BLACKHEADS
The most common beauty problem among girls, but not only, are blackheads. It gives us a lot of trouble and unfortunately we can not get rid of them permanently. A face mask that helps you fight blackheads (it is been tested by me) is the combination of honey and cinnamon.
Recipe: You need a teaspoon of each. Mix until smooth and apply the paste on the T zone, or wherever you have the blackheads. Leave it for a few minutes and then rinse with warm water.
This treatment can be used several times a week. Honey is an excellent moisturizer and cinnamon has antibacterial properties.
2. Dehydrated Complexion
If you have a dehydrated skin, honey is the best treatment. Whether used alone (lie honey on your face and leave it for several minutes and then rinse it with warm water) or in combination with others such as eggs, olive oil, bananas etc.
Recipe: For the banana honey mask you need a banana (obviously), yogurt and one tablespoon of honey. Crush the banana until you get a sort of puree, then mix it with yogurt and honey. Spread on the face and leave it for 30 minutes. After that, you can rinse with warm water.
Bananas are a rich source of calcium and vitamin B whereas yogurt is good for cleaning and moisturizing the face.
3. Revitalized Complexion
For your skin to be revived, cucumber and mint combined with egg whites will fulfill your desire.
Recipe: To get revitalizing mask you need a white egg, crushed mint leaves and one cucumber peeled without seeds. Mix the cucumber and the mint well in the blender. Beat the egg whites until they become a foam and add it over the cucumber and mint. Apply this mask on the face for 20 minutes, then rinse with warm water.
Cucumber is rich in vitamins such as vitamin A, vitamin C, calcium, iron, phosphorus. Egg whites have an lifting effect while peppermint reduces sebum secretion and it is rich in vitamin A, C and Omega 3.
3 Homemade Beauty Masks For Your Body
Exfoliating masks are very important for body care, so I advise you to try some homemade beauty masks (that are also healthy!) and start looking gorgeous! Skin exfoliation is very important because it helps you get rid of dead cells, leaving your skin healthy and smooth. I will mention exfoliating benefits like:
-reduces facial redness and blemishes
-opens pores and removes dirt
-removes unwanted hair
-helps treat dry skin
Although it is very effective, you shouldn’t exaggerate with skin exfoliation. Irritation, burning and skin drying are some negative aspects arising from peeling. It is said that every 7 days our cells regenerate, so i advise you to exfoliate only once a week.
