1. Cleaning Your Face Too Often
Washing your face too often can lead to dry, irritated skin—that is, it will strip the top layer of oil that’s on the skin.

Considering that, you don’t want to wash your face more than you need to (twice a day).
Regular exfoliation can help clear out the pores. Too much of it, however, can actually damage your skin.

3. Not Moisturizing Right Away
It’s important that you moisturize your skin immediately after cleansing. Leave your skin bare for more than 60 seconds and it will start to dry out.
