Calling all marijuana lovers!

Many consumers who rely on edibles are stricken by one of the worst situations a cannabis user can face: a low-carb diet.

When those munchies hit, it’s difficult to keep your hands out of the proverbial cookie jar. Luckily, healthy weed edibles do exist.

And they’re quite tasty.

Ready to feel good about your snacks and meals? If so, check out our low-carb edibles below.

Healthy Weed Edibles

A low-carb diet is necessary if you want to lose weight. All those yummy carbs eventually turn into sugar within the body, which translates into fat.

But you don’t have to cut all the joy out of your palate. Instead, use our three low-carb edibles.

1. Bacanna-Bliss

Sure, bacon isn’t the healthiest food, but it is low-carb. Enjoy this easy recipe about twice a week with some eggs or veggies.

What You’ll Need:

  • Sliced bacon
  • Cannabis that is ground to a powder

Directions:

Spread the ground cannabis on a baking sheet. Cook it at 222 degrees Fahrenheit for 45 minutes.

On a separate, un-greased cookie sheet, place the number of strips you would like to cook. After the cannabis finishes, increase the oven’s temperature to 275 degrees and sprinkle the desired amount of baked cannabis onto one side of the bacon.

Save some of the cannabis for the other side of the strips!

Bake the bacon for 10 minutes. Remove the bacon, flip each strip and sprinkle the desired amount of cannabis on the other side. Replace the bacon in the oven.

Let it bake for another ten minutes, then it’s time to bring home the bacon (and by that, we mean eat it with gusto).

2. Cannabis-Infused Burgers

No more staring longingly at that guy across the street eating a Big Mac. It’s time to take things into your own hands with this tasty cannabis burger recipe.

What You’ll Need:

  • 1 pound of ground beef (or a vegan substitute)
  • 1/2 gram of decarboxylated and ground cannabis bud
  • 1 diced onion
  • 1 egg
  • Desired seasonings, vegetables and condiments
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • Cheese (optional)

Directions:

In a large bowl, mix together the meet, cannabis, onion, egg, and seasoning until the texture is consistent.

Form the meat into burger patties. Try to keep the thickness uniform.

Add the olive oil to a pan and heat on a high temperature. Place a few patties into the pan and flip them after 1 minute. Add more seasoning.

Lower the temperature and cook for 5 to 10 minutes, flipping regularly, until the patties reach your desired wellness. If desired, add cheese a few minutes before taking the burgers off.

Add veggies and/or condiments, and enjoy!

3. Paleo Pot Brownies

That’s right. A healthy weed brownie exists. But if you’d rather order in, there are any number of delectable edible desserts you can view here.

What You’ll Need:

  • 1 cup of almond, peanut or sunflower seed butter
  • 1 egg (or flax egg)
  • 1/3 cup of maple syrup or honey
  • 2 tablespoons of cannabis-infused hash butter or coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla
  • 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
  • 1/3 cup of cacao powder (raw)

Line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper while the oven preheats to 325 degrees Fahrenheit.

Mix together everything except the cacao powder and baking soda in a large bowl. Whisk in the baking soda and cacao powder.

Spread evenly in the pan and bake for 20 minutes. Yum!
