Being the PR Coordinator of this website, I cannot say that I have expected our sudden growth in terms of everything. Until this year, we have steadily grown, bit by bit every month, but never as much as in the past 2-3 months. We have managed to go to New York Fashion Week, London Fashion Week the second year, and we are aiming high for Paris and Milan Fashion Weeks this year.
However, what shocked me most, was the amount of events we have been to so far. As the PR Coordinator, I usually am the one who facilitates them, not the one who actually gets to attend them. Nevertheless, since we are spread all over the world, I had the chance to attend a few events and I loved this side of the job.

One of the events I really enjoyed attending was the Push PR Press Day! The girls at the PR agency are truly amazing and dedicated to their brands, and I loved being there and having them explain the history of their wonderful brands and how interesting they really are. When people say fashion, they commonly think about big companies, such as Burberry or Chanel, but it is actually the smaller more niche brands that make fashion alluring. These brands that the girls at Push PR represent are the one which bring an alluring aura to the industry, making it worth it!
So let’s see a few of them…
#1 Eileen Fisher
A instant classic to take centre stage next season, Eileen Fisher’s designs are minimalist and geometric and they are a MUST in our SS15 closets! The collection, called ICONS, represents a mix of bold-proportions intersected with origami-inspired folds and different geometric shapes that are part of the brand’s ethos.
#2 The Jewellery
There were several jewelry brands present at the Press Day. I literally had trouble choosing among them, as they are all great and very detailed and I loved them. While being there I have realized my new love for jewelry, and the collections looked wonderful! I have picked Kirsten Goss, as I have found her inspiration very interesting. The South African jeweler, owner of the eponymous brand has launched different collections, concentrated on giving back to the African Community through the materials used.

#3 Pantherella
Another brand I really loved, even though it might sound a bit weird is the Pantherella. A sock brand, I loved how they made socks in such bright and interesting color combinations. I am definitely in love with socks, and since the cold season is very much here, these socks are simply perfect! Plus they are a heritage brand and they truly are what I like to call Made in Britain!

#4 Seven Boot Lane
I am in love with flats, and Seven Boot Lane has an answer to all my wishes in terms of shoes! Another British based shoe company, which pays special attention to craftsmanship and finishing of the product. The shoes are produced on one of the very few surviving shoe-making towns in Elche, Spain with each shoe engineered to last for a long time. The shoes are very versatile, which makes me love them even more and it has a good following of the likes of Pippa Middleton and Millie MacKintosh!

#5 Spoke
A brand that can give a great inspiration for a present for him is called Spoke. It is a menswear brand that creates bespoke chinos by mastering the art of modern, clean and definitely simple tailoring for your to order on your exact measurements. The brand’s ethos is emphasized by the desire to give you a classic and timeless product that fits perfectly well. It follows a simple online process, where you put your waist and thigh measurements in their program and the size is generated for you.

#6 Tara Starlet
A brand I absolutely adore and which completely matches the way I wish I was dressing and the period of fashion I love the most is Tara Starlet. A brand that embodies vintage and pin-up and which concentrates on a time when garments were more cherished and there was less of an emphasis on fast fashion, but on passing clothes down from generation to generation. Founded by a mother-daughter duo and selling first in the Portobello and Spitalfields markets in London, where it is based, it has an interesting story and we are in love with the pieces!

#7 Tusting
I definitely love bags, of any kind and size, but I really don’t think have seen any that are so perfectly made. A British heritage brand making luxury leather goods since 1875, Tusting is definitely something worth saving for. The bags have a very classic and versatile air to them, and I truly feel that I can buy the whole collection and still not get enough of it!

#8 Unknown
Last but not least, a great watch brand called Unknown, made its appearance in the Press Day. These watches are the epitome of stylish time-keeping and they draw their inspiration from art and vintage design. They are understated, classic and affordable and their inspiration behind each collection is fascinating! Venture with them to the unknown and you will definitely not feel sorry !
This is what I did so far, but stay tuned for more! Press Days and exciting events are here to stay!
