//Pointed Toe Shoes For Fall 2014

Let’s get straight to the point, shall we?!

Over the past decades the pointed toe shoe trend has come and gone a number of times! Spring/Summer 2014 brought the trend back stronger than ever embracing their sharpness with most collections seen on the catwalks and fitting perfectly with any other trend! Most certainly pointed toe shoes can be a little daring, but when worn right, they suit with any style adding a chic, sophisticated and sleek touch!

Looking back to the 20th century, pointed toe shoes were in the fashion scene when the style icon Audrey Hepburn gave them a new identity in the 1950’s and 1960’s. As the 1980’s were following the style from these eras, giving just a slight preppy look to the trends, then  pointed toe shoes were also a sharp comeback then!

Fall 2014 is a season of mixing 1950’s, 1960’s and 1980’s, but giving them a innovative, creative and refined touch to fit in to the modern fashion scene! Choose yours for this season to add some length to your legs and bring out the beautiful lines, fabrics and embellishments on all those beautiful garments used for the catwalks!

About the Author:

A fashion photographer from Estonia who is taking BA degree studies in Southampton Solent University, United Kingdom. Currently based in Lisbon, Portugal. Fashion and photography have always been a great passion of mine, which is why, after a short period of art and photography studies in Odder, Denmark, I decided to commit myself to a BA degree in fashion photography to grow as an artist, improve the technical skills and deeply understand the behind the scene of fashion industry. Curious and adventurous personality allows me to explore fashion photography from different angles. I enjoy working in the studio and outdoors, creating a different narrative and look each time. Until now, I also styled and directed on hair and make-up on the shoots. The outcome is always edited and retouched by me. I am also interested in graphic design and take a great pleasure combining these two fields that are so strongly connected.
