We’ve Been There: Marc by Marc Jacobs at Matches Fashion

//We’ve Been There: Marc by Marc Jacobs at Matches Fashion

The Matches Fashion house in Marylebone, London was filled with fashion’s best at the launch of Marc by Marc Jacobs this Tuesday evening. Bloggers, journalists and fashion aficionados were all present alongside Katie Hillier and Amanda Bartley to celebrate the Autumn/Winter 2014 launch of the brand.

Since Marc Jacobs quit Louis Vuitton, he concentrated his creative thoughts towards his IPO, which brought it much more attention to the Marc Jacobs, as well as to all the brands and collections under his name.

It was a great event, filled with good music, interesting art and great people! We were proud to represent Estilo-Tendances, as well as Male-Extravaganza to this great launch, to see the great pieces, but also to witness a London fashion party á la Matches Fashion.

Let’s talk a little bit about the collection…

Marc by Marc Jacobs is the designer’s diffusion line, giving us a peek into the quirky and interesting world of Marc Jacobs. It is stylish, day-to-day wear that proves his brand can create everything in a way that is fashionable and that makes a statement. This particular line, is very pop, 90s sports inspired and is rather versatile for the fashionista interested in drawing attention to her style. Having prints such as “Bunny Hop” and “Be nice” on the garments, the collection makes you want to hop in on Marc Jacobs’ roller coaster of interesting materials and cuts. This whole universe of quirkiness was created from the creative spirit of Amanda Bartley and Kate Hillier, who were there staying and chatting with everyone present.

Overall, it was an interesting evening, filled with good vibes, and the clothes on display were great! I would have never thought I was going to be able to go to such an event, and it made my day!

Thank you very much Nuffnang.com for inviting us to be there!
