It’s October, one of the most important months of the year, but why?
It’s Breast Cancer awareness month, a time frame where we reflect, support and aid those who have, have had or know someone who has suffered from this devastating disease. The most important thing we have to ask ourselves is what can we do? How do we help?
The Nail Breast Cancer campaign is one small step to raising money to help expand awareness of this disease. Remember darlings, knowledge is power.
The Future Dreams charity was established in 2008 by Sylvie Henry and daughter Danielle Leslie after they both suffered from breast cancer. Their aim was to raise funds so new research could be conducted into the depth of this disease in the hope that such knowledge would allow new treatments to appear. These two amazing ladies sadly lost their battle with cancer, but the foundations they had laid at Future Dreams continue to go on and inspire all of us.
From October 1st-8th, this fabulous charity will run the Nail Breast Cancer campaign, a collaboration between Future Dreams and salons nationwide in order to raise money and continue support. Nail Salons and brands across the country will each ask their customers to add £1 to their treatment or purchase which will then be donated to The Haven and Breakthrough Breast Cancer, two beneficiaries created by the Future Dreams charity. Popular brands such as OPI, LCN and Bio sculpture are in partnership suggesting the widespread global support this campaign is about to get. You can play your part.

The most powerful thing that can arise from this campaign is togetherness; together we can nail breast cancer.
