With the summer in its “hottest” shape and us seeking the tinniest clothes, I bet you aren’t thinking about chilly fall. Well, the designer thought about it long time ago and in February they’ve already launched their Fall Collection. Paris, New York, Milan and London were grasping to see the latest trends in terms of fashion and to enjoy, of course, the awesome show taking place on the streets at that moment.

Throughout all the glamour and celebrities, there was Isabel Marant’s Fashion Show. You may remember her from the capsule collection she designed for H&M, which was a worldwide success, or from the fact that she is the creator of the wedge sneakers.

What we are all expecting from a French designer is , clearly, that chic Parisian element: something that is not too extravagant and opulent, but still that can catch the eye. Well, Isabel managed to do this throughout her last collection and even more: if you like khaki tones, military influences, loose pants and long coats, then this is the collection you have to get inspired from:

The first part of the collection uncovered a more feminine assortment of garments, in pastel colors. The star was definitely the fleecy coat, which seems to be the new must of the fall in Marant’s vision. The designer emphasized the focus on loose garments, like wide-leg trousers and combination of prints.

As noticed, the second part of the collection draw attention towards more masculine and military clothes. The chromatic palette shifted in a darker area, composed by khakis, black and grey tones.The khaki leather trousers embody edginess and follow the easy-going style of the overall collection. Beside the oversize masculine coat in grey shades, I really liked the printed shorts and sweater combination.

Fall clothes are truly the ones I enjoy the most wearing, and mostly playing with them. This season designers emphasize the idea of daring, while mixing prints and textures. Isabel really exposed a fresh and young collection, embodying some key garments like the fleecy coat, the masculine oversize coat and wide leg trouser, which will surely be the IT-elements of any fashionista’s closet this fall!
