When talking about a New Year’s Eve dress, there are a lot of designers able to create and embody the perfect dress for this kind of event. However, only one name crossed my mind the second I asked myself this question. The answer was very simple: Elie Saab. I chose this designer because, when it comes to elegant and simple dresses, he really outdoes himself. Every of his fashion shows prove why he is a designer to keep in mind.
What’s so great about Saab’s dresses and gowns? Simple: they all look exquisite, elaborate and beautiful, combining different types of gem embroidery on smooth, elegant materials, and with a wide range of colors, from most pale ones to the most intense ones. Gowns, dresses and jumpsuits, all of them are elegant and could be easily worn at a New Year’s Eve party. Yes, they are not for everybody and yes, not anyone can pull off this type of look, but for those women who can do it, the effect is ravishing.
