I have always been a fan of suede, but most of all, of suede boots (especially suede Chelsea boots) and how to wear suede boots. I love to wear suede anytime and everywhere except when it rains. God forbid I take my suede boots out when it’s pouring. I hate to see get my suede boots wet.

When getting ready for autumn and spring, these are my favorite piece of shoes because they come in handy everywhere I go (office or just out). Whether you like the classic type of boot, knee high, flat, ankle, country-like, wedge, the possibilities of wearing suede boots are endless. And I know you know what I’m talking about when I say that I honestly love suede boots in autumn colors such as brown, nude, copper, marsala, khaki and every other shade in between.

How To Wear Suede Boots

Let’s get down to some of the models that I suggest you should have and definitely wear this season. (You can have them all if you got the money!).

#1 Ankle Boots

Willow Taupe Fringe Western Ankle Boot

“Kick off your look with the fabulous fringe of this junior’s Willow ankle boot from Bongo. With details like a brushed synthetic leather upper, stitching accents and a stacked heel, this fashionable boot features a cushioned footbed for a fit as comfortable as it is noticeable!”

This model of suede ankle boots is maybe my favorite one. It’s not a flat heel, it’s not a high heel. It’s the perfect heel, which allows me to walk miles in them. You can wear these boots with skinny jeans, tucked in, or with dresses, and even flared jeans.

Cut-out Detail Suede Ankle Boots

I also like these two models of suede ankle boots with a flat heel, and these cut-out boots have really made me wonder how would they look on my feet. I think they are the perfect suggestion for spring. In my opinion, this color would look great mixed with a white shirt and denim jeans.

#2 High Boots

Suede Fringe Boot

“The Suede Fringe Boot is a round toe suede boot with partial side zipper closure. Fringe accent on side of boot shaft. Suede wrapped block heel.”

Suede and fringe is one combination that I absolutely love. It gives a Boho-chic feel and I think it’s really cute how the fringes move and dance while walking. I would take these boots our for a walk, everywhere!

Lanvin Knee High Suede Boots in Neutrals

For those of you who love high and solid heels, this is the perfect choice: knee-high stylish suede boots. They can look very interesting with a midi skirt, maybe even a maxi one. I’ve seen combinations like this and I really liked them. You can’t know until you try it.

#3 Country Boots

Ash Women’s Haurican Suede Boots

“Made for the fashion fearless, ASH specialises in unique footwear designs with a sports influence. Made famous by their now iconic sport wedge design, ASH takes sports-luxe to new heights and established itself as a go-to high-end footwear brand. Expect urban inspired trend-led footwear designed with impeccable craftsmanship and unique forward-thinking.”

I’m not a particular fan of this model: they are a bit too pointy for my likes. I would go with the model bellow, it suits me better.

Frye Women’s Veronica Shortie Boot

“Suede is oiled and burnished. Engineer details with solid antique brass buckles.”

I actually tried a similar pair of these and I can say they look pretty cosy and casual with jeans. You don’t have to be an expert and to know all the rules on how to wear suede boots. You just have to have a little bit of fashions sense and style.

#4 Wedge Boots

Toms Women’s Black Suede Desert High Wedge

“Fashion meets function in these Toms Black Suede Desert High Wedge. These boots feature an outer side zip, padded leather insole, and stylish suede making them elegant yet comfortable.”

And, for those of you who prefer more stability in their life, I suggest a pair of these suede wedge boots. You won’t be disappointed, trust me.

Stella Mccartney Faux Suede Wedge Boots

“Stella McCartney Faux suede wedge boots, Balancing a vertiginous heel with a generous platform, Stella McCartney’s faux suede boots add height without compromising comfort.”

Stella McCartney is well-known for her skill when it comes to edgy shoes and this is an example that is a representative one. If you like the edgy style and want to stand out from the crowd, then go for a pair of these babies. I consider them to be the pièce de résistance.

Grey Suede Boots

Yes, they are really high and yes, they are another option to your so-to-say piece of stability. Or are they not? You might think that if you’re on wedges everything is just fine. Well, I hate to break it to you, but even wedges, I mean high wedges, have a problem: it’s called “instability”. Good luck wearing them!

So, there you have it! Types of suede boots that you can choose from. It’s really easy to style them and you don’t need any guide on how to wear suede boots. I know you have some imagination and you will style them properly! You’re a fashionista, right?
