All hail Christopher Bailey.
Once again this designer, or should I say this master, has succeeded in creating the most divine collection for the most anticipated London fashion week runway show. Burberry is magical, feminine, elegant and oh so British. Come rain or shine, Autumn or Spring, this is the brand that you would like to be seen in. Even the likes of Romeo Beckham, who is the face of the Burberry holiday campaign has contributed to bringing the fashion industry at the feet of this luxury

This season things were a little different … how may you ask? Cara Delevingne, Burberry favourite, the Burberry face, was absent from the runway. Instead she sat FROW with Queen Kate Moss. The two had starred in the new Burberry fragrance campaign so it was only right these fashion BFF’s were snapped together. The collection itself was as phenomenal as ever. Fashion favourites Suki Waterhouse and Jourdan Dunn dominated the runway in pieces that ranged from bold and exaggerated to flawless and feminine.

The iconic Burberry Trench
The Burberry trench coat is one of the most famous pieces in British fashion history. The once beige, simplistic piece has transformed into something incredible. Now over the top prints, vivid colours and modern accessorising, such as the bow tied waists have entered the catwalk. Mustard, khaki and turquoise are colours that no other person would dream of combining however Christopher Bailey has not only embraced them but created pure magnificence. We desire the ownership of a Burberry trench just as much as we did twenty years ago.
The denim jacket
‘The denim jacket was so 90’s’- a statement in itself that is outdated.
Here on the Burberry catwalk we saw an array of to die for denim jackets, but they were far from classic. A vary of colours, sleeves and fit worked this runway paired with equally as gorgeous pieces. Burberry is well known from its creativity and innovative but the denim jacket is a timeless, staple wardrobe piece and Christopher reaffirms this lifelong fashion mantra.
Print perfection
Sure other brands are lovers of elaborate prints, but when Burberry embraces this trend it is something spectacular. Sometimes prints can clash a little too much or struggle to mix well with each other however Christopher Bailey has worked his way around this. Not only do the prints do the talking within these fabulous ensembles but the pieces in this collection contain multiple trends, just look at the reappearance of the denim jacket. Burberry encourages every fashionista to experiment with print not just those who are daring enough to do so prior to viewing this striking collection.

Delightful tuelle
The epitome of perfection.
Tuelle is one of my favourite materials to create the ultimate chic and high society look. We often find it within ball gowns and other eveningwear, however Burberry have utilized it into our everyday style. These pieces, as feminine and elegant as they may seem, have a little edge, something that little bit striking. Layers upon layers, bows upon bows, these pieces are sure to make people stop and stare. For all the right reasons that is.
