Say good-bye to the uncomfortable and painful high heels! The sneakers are conquering fashionistas all over the world. It is not a new trend, but these sport shoes are winning the shoe battle this spring! From soft pink to black, monochrome to prints and flats to wedges, they are a must in everybody’s closet. I have to admit I wasn’t a big fan of sport shoes and I’ve been wearing them only in the gym, but the boom of colors, models and most of all the urban-comfy look they provide has convinced me to start hunting some models! So, here are the ones that caught my attention:
1. YvesSaint Laurent metallic sneakers
Leather sneakers with a super-modern feel, made me include them immediately on my wishlist! They are cool, simple, yet not common. Have the right doze of glamour to make any simple outfit stand out.
2. Maison Martin Margiela coral sneakers
The combination of leather, suede and mesh works perfect for me. I have to admit that the color is also helping. They are ankle high and double-rubber sole which makes us gain some extra centimeters.
3. Marc by Marc Jacobs lizard effect sneakers
Very unique stylized, these lizard effect sneakers will rock your outfits on every occasion. Picture them with a pair of skinny jeans and a simple T-shirt, or maybe with a cool chiffon dress!
4. Jimmy Choo lace and leather sneakers
These are my favorite pair! Very simple, yet sophisticated in detail, the combination of lace and leather works perfectly for me. We have no doubts about them, since are branded with the shoes-guru’s name Jimmy Choo!
5. Isabel Marant wedge sneakers
Even if the inventor of the wedge sneakers, Isabel Marant, confessed that she’s not so much into wearing them anymore since everybody started copying her idea, I personally think they deserve a special place on the shelf.
6. Vans floral sneakers
Going further to a more accessible pair, the floral-printed sneakers from Vans are a perfect combination of low cost and urban-chic. Going to school, or just hanging out, your daily outfits will seem more funny and springish!
7. Converse Chuck Tailor All Star
Everybody knows Converse sneakers, they are iconic for the industry and a basic must-have! They gained a lot of popularity in the past and are the kind of accessory you cannot fail wearing. Are available in tons of prints in every specialized store.
8. Lacoste Marcel sneakers
Pretty much the same characteristics as the Converse, but I’ve chosen these ankle mid pink for their edgy feel. Their are a cool piece and the color just vibes!
9. Nike Dunk Sky Wedge
Say hello to the (probably) most known sportswear brand around the world. Their interpretation upon sneakers is very wide, but I’ve chosen this wedge pair, with a really modern twist.
10. Geox sneakers
Well, Geox is suggesting us a large variety of models when it comes to sneakers on their newest collection. I couldn’t decide upon one pair, so I’ve chose three models from the same collection, with slightly different characteristics. Whether you prefer the baby blue ones, the ankle ones or the soft pink ones, you can be sure they are made of quality leather and fashion sense.
