While we all waiting for our most beloved guest, the snow (and for some years now…), we can use the remaining days of this year thinking and planning Christmas, the parties, reunions with friends, the presents and New Year’s Eve.

Kate Moss for Vogue UK. December 2001
It might not appear as a December cover, but we do have here the three elements that have been selling magazines for years now – the Royal Family, Vogue and Kate Moss. What else do we need? To know that this cover has been shortlisted by the Professional Publisher’s Association (PPA) for the prestigious title of Cover of the Century. SHOOT, it’s perfect!
The supermodel wore the tulle dress by Giorgio Armani and had a replica Coronation crown while holding a scepter in her right hand. The image was shot by Nick Knight and styled by Kate Phelan and it was designed to mix fashion with symbols of power in the lead up to the Queen’s Golden Jubilee the following year.
〉 ELLE UK 2012 〈
Cameron Diaz for ELLE Magazine, December 2012
Now this is a more fairytale like cover. It is one of my favorites, as it reveals beauty, delicacy and sugar in it’s 40! Cameron Diaz is the cover star for this December issue of ELLE UK, wearing #Chanel from the Resort 2013 Collection and being worthy of a place in this list.
〉 Vogue 2013 〈
Jessica Chastain for Vogue, December 2013
A goddess among mortals, as Jessica Chastain looks on this cover, this image gives you sensations of warmth & fire and tastes of cinnamon, vanilla and oranges. Annie Leibovitz is the one to shoot this angelic Jessica for the editorial which recreates classic paintings. The actress, in this cover photo, wears a yellow Theory by Theyskens’ dress, inspired by the Frederic Leighton’s famous “Flaming June” painting.

Heather Marks covers ELLE Russia December 2014
It’s called dreamy winter with a reason- it catches all the December magic in it. The Canadian supermodel is caught in it’s transcendent beauty by a skilled team in this issue of Elle Russia. Behind the lens is Xavi Gordo and the amazing dresses and gowns are styled by Anna Artamonova. Makeup artist Paco Garrigues worked on makeup and hair with prop styling by Cristina Ramos.

Amy Adams for Vogue’s December Issue 2014
Captured by Annie Leibovitz in this December issue of Vogue, the beautiful actress gives transparency and clearness – also helped by this Valentino dress (price on request). With her mesmerizing blue eyes, Amy Adams appears as a porcelain figure unable to be touched. However, her humor and artistic skills are well recognized all over the world. With an editorial sorrounded by fantasy, Amy wears Alexander McQueen, Giambattista Valli Haute Couture, Schiaparelli Haute Couture and Oscar de la Renta.
