Hello, fashion lovers! I am sure by now you all have heard about the collaboration between the famous designer Isabel Marant and the retailer H&M. It isn’t a novelty this kind of collaborations between the Swedish brand and high-end designers. Anna dello Russo, Marni, Lanvin and Maison Martin Margiela are some names that were featured in H&M catalogues in the recent years. And since this kind of partnership has been a win-win for both involved, the next step was finding one of the most en vogue designers of the moment.

For the ones who don’t know who is Isabel Marant, the French designer become, in the latest period, the “sweetheart” of Parisian Fashion Industry. She works within the industry since 1994, when she launched her first jewelry collection. Her vision is to create clothes that any woman can wear in her daily life, an effortless, yet classy look.

The style adopted by the designer is interesting, combining urban elements, ethnical motifs and more conventional garments. Her collection is targeted at women, men and also teenagers. It includes casual clothes that can be worn mostly in the day light. The designer instigates the buyers to mix the garments, to create their own personal style and wear her clothes with the right attitude. Her accessories collection includes scarves, necklaces and suspenders for men. The surprise comes in the fact that Isabel has never designed for men, this being her first attempt.

After I saw the look book, I have to admit that I love some of the menswear outfits more than the women ones. From my point of view, her attempt is a total success! What I don’t understand is her involvement in teenagers’ sector, which I think doesn’t fit her style at all!

The collection hit the stores on November 14. So, if you hurry, you may find something left! Here are some of the garments Isabel created for H&M. Enjoy!
