We all love them! Those cozy and incredibly comfortable garments we are mad for when the winter season is knocking at the door. Even-though the most of us are wearing it on a daily basis, as casual, non-sophisticated clothing, knitwear can be easily transformed into a classy piece. Either you invest more time and attention in choosing your knits, either you take advantage of complementary items like necklaces to make your outfit pop, it can be really easy to stand out by wearing the most common garment of the cold season!

#1 Meet the statement knit
The statement knit needs no further description because you know you’ve seen one when you think all day at it! It’s that kind of sweater, cardigan or knit dress that needs no jewelry in order to be “seen” from miles. Take examples from the following pieces and organize a shopping spree to find yours!

I would like to have them all! The fleecy stuff are to die for when it comes to knitwear. Beside the fact they are keeping warm, they are also fashionable and don’t need to be accessorized to much. Go for a color block or simply put on a pair of leather trousers and you are ready to go!

#3 Oversize me!
I just read an article in Elle about men’s opinion regarding oversize coats. It seems man find them unattractive and unfeminine. I hope they don’t also have the same opinion in what concerns oversized knits cause women love them! It may seem baggy and weird, but all women are mad about wearing an oversized knit(and the comfy feeling it gives) and nothing will change that!
Replace the sandals with a pair of ankle boots, and you’re ready to go!

#5 Make it work!
If you own old, classic knits, don’t even think of throwing them! I also find some in my wardrobe and I thought a way to make them look good and trendy. The idea is to find cool pieces in your closet and mix it with the ones you put aside long time ago. For example, take advantage of the layering trend, oversize necklaces and other accessories!
