Hello, loves! So glad to be back and happy to share new things with you. This time we came with new reasons to chat about fashion, even that we don’t need reasons when it’s about keeping up with the new trends, but some people might not agree with us, so to give them the satisfaction, we do have a real reason this time and it’s about the begging of a new seasonautumn or the fallen leaves season.

Welcome back, Autumn!

Autumn is the season when every fashion girl is swapping her summer clothes (while feeling a bit sad) for bad and rainy weather clothes. I know, is really painful, but don’t worry we have beautiful things for you and for your outfits so that you stay and look brilliant and gorgeous even on a rainy day. Shall we start?

The RainCoat Trend

I won’t give you a definition of what a raincoat is, cuz I guess that each one of you knows what I am talking about, but I can say that wearing a proper raincoat for your outfit can have all eyes from the street, and who doesn’t want that?

The other day, I was walking on the streets, somewhere in London, and was pouring with rain and a girl with a sheer sparkling clear raincoat was waiting at the traffic lights; for a moment I was just standing in the rain with my umbrella and starring at her raincoat. Sometimes I do crazy things, but just sometimes and anyway was a gorgeous raincoat, anyone could see that!

Another reason to own a raincoat, beside the fashion one which is to stay stylish whatever the weather this season, is that are very comfy and keep you dry and warm on a rainy day. To understand better the types of raincoats and how could you wear them or pair them with your everyday outfit (office, gym, night out or dog walking) we prepared some tips and ideas just for you.

Hope you enjoy it and please feel free to steal some ideas from us to get ready for the new season!

Types Of Raincoats

Waterproof or water resistant is the main characteristic for each type of a raincoat. Usually we see the medium length raincoats (knee length) because makes more sense when you walk on a heavy rain, so you trousers won’t be all wet; but in our days and with the fashion industry so high and always innovative, many different types and lengths of raincoats came on. Let’s see which one fits you!

Easy to pack them in your purse when you go to work or in your luggage when you set everything off for a holiday. I can make sure that you won’t regret having a raincoat with you wherever you go. So, to start, raincoats are a good and smart investment and another thing, you can wear them years and they still look great and fashionable!

Hip length raincoats or rain jackets are more for active people; we usually wear them with comfy clothes, leggings and snickers (my outfit when I’m going for a walk on a rainy day).

I love these ones, not too long for a small person and not too short, just the perfect measure! You can sit everywhere without getting dirt on your clothes and believe me, after two, three times sitting on a chair in the train or bus, you will love this low-hip length raincoat too.

You can wear them on a rainy day on your way to the office, on a walking paired with jeans, skirt, office trousers and so on; think at your raincoat like if is a cardigan or even better, a waterproof trench. A rainy day doesn’t have to ruin your day or your well-planned outfits so, be cheeky and use the weather in your advantage!

These types of raincoats, the mid-thigh length ones, are more wearable by the tall girls. It’s not that you have to be tall to wear a mid-thigh length raincoat, but will look better on a tall person. Maybe with the help of some rainy heels you can solve this problem out, try and tells us what you think!

And another thing, if we look at the big designers catwalks shows, are loads of mid-thigh raincoats, coats, anoraks, jackets and cardigans on normal length girls. So, look in the mirror and if you love what you see, mid-length raincoat won’t cause any problem, believe us!

The last type of raincoat is definitely for tall girls! Of course, if you don’t want to look like you are wearing a bin bag over your clothes. Are really nice and they really protect you from a heavy rain when you have to walk to pick your lunch order, but, believe me, looks horrible on a short person. You have plenty types of raincoats from where to choose, don’t stop at this one if is not for you!

Darlings I know that this article wasn’t a happy one, even that I tried not to mention the rain at every two sentences, but that’s it; the summer and the good weather are almost gone and we need to keep up with the new season.

So, in conclusion, you need to have in mind the importance of a raincoat or a rain jacket (sometimes an umbrella is not enough) and the main characteristic when buying them: water resistant, if you don’t want to be all wet when you go out for a meeting. I tried to show that you have plenty types of raincoats from where to choose if you are a newbie in this raincoat field, but you’ll see, it’ s much easier than to have an umbrella every time in your hands.
