What do you do before breakfast? Do you know what successful women do? Have you tried to do the first 5 things i wrote about in the first part?
It has been a while since i wrote the first part and this is not because i had no inspiration to continue (the article was already drafted), it was because, like many of you, i delayed it, thinking there are other things more important, or i don’t have enough time. What i have noticed about myself (and i am truly grateful to experience WHO I AM) is that, most of all, i fear not-enoughness. And this is about everything: not enough time to finish my projects, not enough time to make it perfect, not enough time to be able to enjoy everything, not enough time to make everyone happy…

Yes, we, as women, we tend to please everyone, we tend to put others first, we tend to think other people’s problems are more important than ours, we tend to delay what we want for what others expect to see. If you find yourself in this description, then please, continue to read.
In the first part of 10 Things Successful Women Do Before Breakfast, i emphasized the importance of waking up early, being grateful, exercising, meditating and planning the day. But, this is just a half of the things you will do, if you are a successful woman. For this matter, let’s continue with number 6.
6. WATCH/READ/LISTEN SOMETHING INSPIRING
As dull as it might sound, this activity will give you the energy you need to go on with your day. There is no coffee to wake you up better than this, and the good part about it: it is free! I do it everyday, it makes me feel alive, it makes me feel powerful, it gives me such joy that words cannot describe.
Depending on the mood i have in the morning, i get my energy from The Greatness Guide: 101 Lessons for Making What’s Good at Work and in Life Even Better, by Robin Sharma. Also, i recommend checking out Upworthy, Viralnova , Gratitudelog or reading this amazing book called I Declare: 31 Promises to Speak Over Your Life, by Joel Osteen.

All that it matters is to watch, read or listen to something that will motivate or inspire you.
7. WORK ON A PERSONAL PROJECT
Besides work, family and other activities, we mostly skip our personal projects, or our hobbies. Again, why is that?! Because we don’t have time for it, we consider it unimportant and we think others, or other activities need more attention. I want to tell you this: as long as you are not fulfilled professionally, socially, intellectually and personally, you cannot live a happy life, there will always be a gap, like a black hole which will shout “I am not happy yet, but when i will have more time…”. Guess what? “More time” never comes, you have to make more time, not to wait for it to happen.
So, think about that painting you wanted to paint, that book you wanted to read, that bracelet you wanted to make, that flower you wanted to plant… whatever is your passion, make time in the morning to do it. If you make a priority out of it, you will let the universe know that you are committed to your dreams and besides having a blast doing what you love, you will gain more time and more money and more fulfillment, because what you are you attract.
I will say it once more: what you are, you attract. If you are happy, relaxed, enjoying what you love, you will get more experiences that will make you feel happy, relaxed, and joyful. This is how life works.
8. WORK ON A BUSINESS PROJECT
I know a lot of people, myself included, that after they woke up they start stressing about a major task they need to do that day. And the fear of not finishing it, takes us prisoners in a dark jail, where happiness cease to exist. In order to defeat this fear and be able to enjoy all the 10 things you should do before breakfast, take some time to look at the problem, to draft some small tasks on which to work on, or even to finish it in the morning.
But be careful, do not get overwhelmed by it and forget to do all the others. Face the project, focus upon it for a few minutes and just divide it into small steps.
9. REMEMBER TO BE YOURSELF
After finishing the book Conversations with God: An Uncommon Dialogue, Book 1 the most fascinating thing that i have learned is that our purpose in life is not to learn, but to remember and experience who we are. Sometimes, we wake up late, or other issues get in the way, and we forget to be who we are, we forget to take care of our self, including our physical body.
If you are a woman who loves to look good (and i tell you this: all successful women look good, meaning they care for their skin, for the clothes their are wearing, for the message they are sending), take a few minutes to take a hot shower, to use hydrating oil or cream, to choose an outfit that best represents you, to put some makeup on (or at least to use oils and creams to give your skin what it needs), to do your hair and to put some perfume on.
For me, depending on the day, it takes from 30 min to an hour and a half to get out the door, but the confidence that i get, it will last the whole day. If you don’t pay attention to what your body needs, even if it involves physical care, throughout the day you will feel like something is missing. Be whole, be you!
10. SPEND QUALITY TIME WITH YOUR LOVED ONES
The rush of the morning makes us forget about who we have side by side, every day. How can we accept that other things are more important than our relationship with our family? The truth is, we lie to ourselves saying “I will see them tonight!”, “They will be here during the weekend too and then i will have more time”. But, in the end, we might never know when will be the last time we’ll see each other, so why not take advantage of NOW?
Those 5 to 10 minutes while you prepare breakfast are all it takes to say “I love you”, “I hope you know how much you mean to me” or “I wish you have a blissful day” and to hug each other, kiss each other and just be in the presence of each other without shouting and screaming “I don’t have time for this!” “I am late again!”. If you do this, i promise you, that in less than 31 days your relationships will flourish.
Now, that you have read all 10 things to do before breakfast, meditate upon them, and start doing them. It will be hard at first, you will want to quit, you will hate the fact that you even consider it doing… but after a while, after you let go of the resistance and accept the fact, your life will nourish and you will get so many things done in those 2 hours before breakfast, that you will feel like a superwoman! And let me tell you a secret: you are a superwoman!
