We are used to royalty, crowns, glamour and rich materials from Dolce and Gabbana and this collection was not only a continuation but a progression. Kendall Jenner was Queen of the runway walking front and center for the finale. This is just another show and designer BFF to add to her array.

What I adore most about these darling designers is they never deviate from what they are best at and SS15 was no exception. When I think of Dolce & Gabbana I immediately think of reds, black, golds, embellishment and print, attributes that are becoming iconic of the brand. With sleek hair, over exaggerated earrings and little booties they truly embrace that darling Italian charm in a way that screams sophistication, seduction and all things classy.

Black dominance

Black is everywhere … like we didn’t already know.

Season after season the sheer dominance of black is present, no matter how many other colours a designer would like to include.Midi? Mini? Gown? Shorts? And everything in between. Black itself promotes sleek, sexy, chic sophistication and is an eternal fashion trend worldwide.
Paired with two of the world’s most incredible designers and their mastery of styling and fabric cutting … you can only imagine the outcome.

Effortless edge

Untitled design (62)

Dynamic, creative and flawless.

Prints on prints, clash on clash- bold, vibrant and significant are the words used to describe this collection. This is for the girl with an edge, the girl who adores print, the girl who makes a statement.
Distinction and diversity within this collection are consistent meaning it is quite simply impossible for any designers to create something of similarity and arguably anything as fabulous.

Experimental elegance

This is a different time of experimental.

Think culture and history with a dash of modernity. Tassles, ruffles, shawls have returned and they are just bigger and better. I love the primary use of black, red and white. Simplistic and minimal is key, found in the use of colours, however extravagance and something a little eccentric entices FROW goers into admiring and dreaming of wearing these wonderful soon to be wardrobe pieces.

Sassy short shorts

Untitled design (64)

There are high waisted shorts and then there are short shorts.

Shorts are one of the finest pieces of tailoring we will find in any successful, on trend collection. Paired with an equally exquisite blazer it’s your choice as to how curiosity provoking and tempting you make this show stopping ensemble. Whether opting for a blouse, a cropped top or simply nothing how far will you go in indulging in this somewhat ring master alter ego? These ensembles are powerful, structured and dominant. So are the women wearing them.

Which is your favourite from this gorgeous SS15 collection?

I adore sassy short shorts. Once again Dolce and Gabbana has mesmerised us!
